HPC Preview – Round 2
Tuesday, March 11, 2025

After the first round of the HPC season being postponed due to Cyclone Alfred, the HPC boys continued their training in preparation for Round 2 (1st official game of the season)
We spoke with Coach Terry Campese to see what he had to say about the week ahead and the Home Game on Sunday against Mackay Cutters.
“Looking ahead to this weekend’s game against Mackay, we know that we’ll be up against a tough opponent. They will have a strong team with a good mix of Cowboys players coming back to play. We only played the Cutters a few weeks ago in a trial match and they played very clinical so we need to be switched on from the start.”
“The boys have been working hard, and we’ve seen a lot of improvement in our combinations. These first few rounds is all about completions and attitude in defence. We will have a great week of training and prepare for a fast physical game.”
“We’re looking forward to great contest, and we’ll be aiming to give our fans something to cheer about. It’s always exciting to play at home, and we need to start the season well.”
Join us at Jack Manski Oval THIS SUNDAY 16th March as all our teams take on Mackay Cutters in Round 2 of HPC Competition and (Round 4 of Junior Competition).
