The Townsville Mendi Blackhawks award winning “Sky’s the Limit” program wound up for term 3 with a fun session at Kingpin.

Kids from all 3 participating schools Rasmussen, Weir and Vincent schools had so much fun with games of tenpin and laser skirmish.

There were also visits from the Mendi Blackhawks “Mendi Mick” and QPS “Clancy the Koala” and a short presentation where the students received certificates to congratulate them for their wonderful participation in the program.

The “Sky’s the Limit” program is a joint community project focusing on making positive social choices, living a healthy lifestyle and the benefits of a good education.

We would like to give special thanks to Townsville Mendi Blackhawks players Kalifa Faifai Loa and Moses Meninga, Development Officer Tim Nugent as well as Queensland Police Senior Constable Bianca Cortez.

All three schools observed significant positive growth in the students and we are very proud of their achievements.

Many thanks to our supporting organisations, Brothers Leagues Club, Townsville Mendi Blackhawks Football Club, Rasmussen State School, Weir State School, Vincent State School, Queensland Police Service (Kirwan and Upper Ross Police), Upper Ross PCYC.
