2025 Hostplus Cup Draw
With the Hostplus Cup Draw announced today we got to hear from the Operations Manager Adrian Thomson (Happy) and Head Coach Terry Campese to see what they had to say about the draw for next years season.
Head Coach: TERRY CAMPESE
What are your initial thoughts about the draw?
“Yeah I think it’s always exciting when you get to see the draw. It’ll be a huge topic at training with the boys discussing who they’re playing and when and where.”
“I think the longest block of football we played throughout the season is just over a month, so you don’t get to, you know, get into that, I guess, consistency and routine.”
We end the season with 3 away games, how do you feel as a coach?
“3 away games in the last 3 rounds and a pretty tough road trip to finish the season but at the end of the day we’ve just got to turn up each week and play our best football possible, so we can give ourselves and opportunity to play finals.”

Inital thoughts on the draw?
“It’s important we got off to a good start, everyone wants to do that. But we’re away a bit at the end of the season and so we got to start well.”
Off to PNG next year, what do you think about that considering we missed the trip over there this year?
“It’s always a very good learning experience, especially for the guys who haven’t been there before and just how fanatical the supporters are.”
The importance of members and our fans at home games:
“Most definitely we have some good membership packages. You know, for game day that includes tickets for home games and what not.”
“We’ve got a lot of home games early so it gives supporters a chance to come and have a look at our new squad straight away.”
