It was the Mendi Blackhawks night of nights as players swapped jerseys for jackets and footy shorts for suits for the 2022 Presentation of Awards Evening.

There was plenty of smiles and excitement in the room as our U21s prepare for a spot in the grand final playing in the preliminary final this Saturday.

But it was Patrick Kaufusi’s night as he was named the Mendi Player of the Year and Edward Hampson who was named our U21s Player of the Year.

Football Operations Manager, Adrian Thomson said voting for the Mendi Player of the Year was so close it wasn’t decided until the last round.
