The Mendi Blackhawks produced a strong second half performance giving them a win at home 26-16 against Wynnum Manly.

The home team kept the visitors scoreless in the second half after going into the break down 16-6.

The 5 Blackhawks tries were scored by Temone Power, Ty Carucci, Zach Dockar-Clay, Kalifa FaiFai Lowe and Krys Freeman and Levi Dodd kicked 3 from 5.

The win keeps the Mendi Blackhawks in second position on the Intrust Super Cup ladder.

Next week the team travel to PNG to take on the Hunters, while the Under 20’s face the Mustangs at 1300 Smiles on Friday, May 25 at 5.25pm.
