Northern rivalry in first trial for 2016

The Townsville & Districts Mendi Blackhawks will be hitting the field at full speed for our first match of 2016 on Saturday 6th February at Jack Manksi Oval. The Intrust Super Cup squad will be taking on fellow North Queenslanders’, the Northern Pride at 7pm with three exciting lead up games to keep the crowds entertained beforehand.
The Townsville Blackhawks Cyril Connell and Mal Meninga squads will be making their debut in the black and green colours at 2:30pm and 4:00pm respectively. Whilst a special match is scheduled for 5:30pm which will give some up-and-comers a chance to strut their stuff with a mixture of Under 20s and Intrust Super Cup squad members making up both the Townsville Mendi Blackhawks and the Northern Pride teams.
Entry will be $5.00 each for adults and $3.00 each for Concession card holders/Defence Force personnel. Children Under the age of 15 will be FREE. Food and drink will be available for purchase. There will be no pre-sold tickets for trial matches.
