Team Announcement Round 7 – vs Redcliffe Dolphins Sunday 19 April 2pm

The Townsville & Districts Mendi Blackhawks are currently on a 4 match winning streak and sitting on top of the Intrust Super Cup ladder but none of that will help them this week as they head into a difficult encounter with the Redcliffe Dolphins at Dolphin Oval.
After a narrow loss to the Northern Pride in Cairns over the weekend the Dolphins will no doubt be returning to Dolphin Oval with a vengeance. A fact that has not escaped Coach Kristian Woolf, “It will be a tough contest. The Dolphins are not sitting where they would like to be at this point of the season so they will be desperate and dangerous.”
The Dolphins recruited well in the off season, taking on more than a dozen new players which puts the club in a similar situation to the Blackhawks. Both teams have new players who are still working out the kinks, and forming new combinations.
“They have an extremely good rooster so I have no doubt they will be finding form very soon. We will have to be on our game to match them.” Woolf said.
Woolf has named an almost unchanged line up for the Round 7 clash.
